Professional Summary

I am a subspeciality accredited Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology with and extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of gynaecological malignancy. My clinical practice includes ovarian, cervical, endometrial and vulval cancers, advanced cytoreductive surgery, familial cancer risk, and multidisciplinary cancer care within a UK teaching hospital.

I have a longstanding academic interest in medical ethics and law, having completed degrees in Bioethics and Health Ethics & Law. This underpins my medico-legal work, particularly in relation to consent, duty of care, and clinical decision-making. I provide independent, structured and evidence-based expert opinion in accordance with my duty to the Court.

Governance and Leadership

I am currently Lead Cancer Clinician within my NHS Trust and have previously served as Lead for Gynaecological Cancer. These roles involve oversight of cancer pathways, audit, morbidity and mortality review, and compliance with national standards.

I have led the Gynaecological family history service within my NHS Trust since 2017.

I am actively involved in national governance through the British Gynaecological Cancer Society, contributing to guideline development and national audit programmes.
